About Me
I am Mitali Ruths— a mommy, writer, knitter, and DIY enthusiast. I have an M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine, but I decided to pause during my second year of residency to focus on what makes me happy.
My days have never been more challenging or more joyful. I'm currently working on a teen novel and doing some freelance writing.
My daughters Sonya, Leena, and I have a strong and wonderful Adventure Buddy named Drex who takes care of us. In his spare time, Drex is an Assistant Professor at McGill University.
Motherhood has been the catalyst for soul-searching and self-discovery. I am getting in touch with my creative side. These are some of my adventures and inspirations from everyday life in Montreal, Quebec.
Zen Moments
Every so often, I get a moment of clarity and insight— a zen moment. It can be big or small, funny or sad.
Sometimes it just means looking at something ordinary in a new way, or occasionally, it's a realization that becomes life-changing.
I look to inspiration from a number of sources— and often find it where I least expect it.
I would love to be inspired by your zen moments, too! My heart fills with joy that you care. Thank you for stopping by.
