Last year, I came across a British artist named Arthur Buxton who cleverly makes pie charts to represent the colors in an artist’s paintings— like the works of Van Gogh. Drex then wrote a piece of code that could take any picture and turn it into a pie chart, because he’s romantic like that.
The artist came across my blog post and contacted Drex for his code. In exchange, Arthur Buxton himself sent us this signed print— the first in a series of fifty. The works of Henri Matisse in pie chart form.
