Earlier this summer, Drex dreamed up an imaginary trophy for himself— filled with all his favorite candy… So for his birthday…
This marks the beginning of a new family tradition. This highly prestigious, extremely coveted, and very shiny prize shall be awarded for any special achievements and milestones— birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, outstanding accomplishments, etcetera and so forth.
The trophy can be filled with candy, popcorn, stickers, toys, jewelry, tickets, trinkets, vouchers, gadgets, and all kinds of other delights.
(I’m not-so-secretly waiting for it to be my turn. Maybe I’ll do something exceptional and trophy-worthy before my birthday in March?)
What would you put inside your trophy?

I love this! I’ve been watching the Olympics and trying to figure out when and where I could take a victory lap in the near future. I think we might need to figure out a family trophy I can hold over my head at the same time.
Oh. And it might depend on the day. Some days I’d really like a trophy full of grapes and strawberries. Other days I’d fill it with Hershey’s Bliss.
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups were my Pavlovian reward for taking tests during my undergrad. I wanted to associate tests with chocolate.
